My name is Alessandro, born and raised in Rome. I started this job in 2011 when with my family I decided to open a little restaurant in Rome called I Porchettoni. I always loved cooking and I am a super fan of Porchetta, one of the most famous products of Rome and Italy, I wanted to open a typical osteria romana where people could get together and enjoy food but not only, it was important to me that my customers could experience the true essence of the romanity! It was all about good food, fun and happiness! All this for an affordable price! But I wasn't satisfied. Having Been always attracted from strangers, especially Americans, I aimed to gather tourists promoting my restaurant on social medias. The result was 2 visits from The Travel Channel with the Layover in Rome with the Late Anthony Bourdain and Food Paradise International. After those video shows, aired all around the world, my restaurant was basically invaded by Americans and not only, all crazy for my Porchetta! So I decided to spread the word of this millenary product in the USA and chosed Miami as home base. I don't know where this new adventure will lead me but it will be a lot of fun!
